I am seeking a challenging career in a specialized library where I can merge my research and technical skills. In addition to reference and research work, my objective is to work within a library environment where I can translate information needs into Web functionality. My interest in Web design has influenced me to seek a position that will place me within a team where content analysis and Web page development is a priority. I have extensive experience joining together on-line databases with traditional library resources in a fast-paced work environment. The East Meadow Library�is Nassau County's "Central" Public Library. The information I disseminate daily is eclectic in nature so one must be able to think expeditiously. Part of my week also involves aiding students at Audrey Cohen College with their research. Repeatedly, my days consist of instructing patrons and students on the use of PCs and navigating on-line databases. I am proficient with a variety of PC applications, HTML, and searching on-line databases. I am pliable, I can handle multiple tasks, and I recognize the significance of teamwork and the importance of enhanced library service.
